Joost Negenmann (NPO) – Competition in the Livingroom using HbbTV: The presentation describes why people watch TV, from a social perspective, and how social applications and services (like the 2nd Screen app See2Gather) can contribute to keep TV as a focus of social interaction.

Nico Patz (RBB) – HbbTV andUser Interaction: Based on the question “How to make TV interesting for youngsters” and the experience gained in the German pilot of TV-RING, the presentation introduces some findings on what young audience expect from TV and what services the project created based on them.

Francesc Mas (CCMA) – HbbTV Towards an interactive and innovative TV: The presentation held by the Catalan broadcaster explains what are the opportunities brought by interactive services to the broadcasters, and in particular for CCMA, and describes their experience in the TV-RING project and their multicamera service.
